Plate 48 BATOTEUTHIDAEコウモリイカ科／PROMACHOTEUTHIDAE ダルマイカ科／ GRIMALDITEUTHIDAE トックリイカ科／JOBINITEUTHIDAE オナガイカ科 （図A．南大洋産；B．触腕） 189. コウモリイカ Batoteuthis skolops Young & Roper, 1968 大きさ 外套長27cm。 特徴 外套膜は円筒形で、とがった尾部をもち、鰭は小さく横長の楕円形。頭部は小さい。腕吸盤は2列。触腕掌部の分化は不明瞭で、殆ど全長に亘って6列の吸盤がある。 Mantle cylindrical, terminating in a sharply pointed tail. Fins small, transversely oval. Head very small. Arm suckers biserial. Tentacle club sucker not differentiated into carpus, manus and dactylus, but with 6 rows of suckers in almost entire length. （図．北西太平洋産） 190. ダルマイカ Promachoteuthis megaptera Hoyle, 1885 大きさ 外套長5cm。 特徴 外套膜は円錐型で短く、鰭幅は外套長の1.5倍、長さは凡そ75％。丸く、後縁は繁がる。眼は薄膜に被われる。腕は極めて短いが、それに比し触腕は太く、外套長の2倍に及ぶが、掌部は分化不完全で、凡そ1000個の吸盤が多数列に配置する。 付記 この標本はチャレンジャー号が1875年採集したもの以来2個体めで、1980年北西太平洋から採集されたやや未熟の雌である。 Mantle short conical. Fins large, thick and ovl, width 1.5 times ML and FLI 75, with posterior margin connected with each other. Eyes covered with a thin integument. Arms very short, but tentale very strong and as long as twice ML. Club suckers not differentiated into carpus, manus and dactylus, but about 1000 minute suckers arranged rather inrregularly. This specimen was collected from Northwest Pacific in 1980, and is the second known specimen since Challenger collected one in 1875. （図．地中海産） 191. トックリイカ Grimalditeuthis bormplandii (Verany, 1837) 大きさ 外套長10cm。 特徴 外套膜は細長い円錐型で、寒天質。鰭は丸く、鰭長は外套長の50％。尾部には心臓型の第2鰭がある。（この部分は破損していることが多い）。頭は狭く、漏斗と外套膜は癒着していて軟骨器はない。腕は細い。触腕を欠く。 Mantle elongate conical, gelatinous,with oval fins of 50% ML in length and second fin of heart-shaped on tail behind. Head narrow. Funnel locking cartilage lacking but funnel and mantle fused. (nuchal articulation free). Arms very slender with biserial suckers. Tentacle lacking. （図A．駿河湾産；B．触腕） 192. オナガイカ Joubiniteuthis portieri (Joubin, 1912) 大きさ 外套長8.5cm。 特徴 外套膜は細長い円筒形。後端から外套長に匹敵する位長い尾部をもつ。鰭は楕円形。腕は第�M腕を除いて長く、吸盤は基部では2列であるが、半分より先端寄りは6列になる。触腕は弱く掌部に小吸盤が不規則に並ぶ。先端方に短い泳膜がある。 Mantle cylindrical, with a slender tail as long as ML. Fins elliptical in outline. Arms very slender and long except arm �M, all with biserial suckers proximally but increase into 6 rows in distal half. Tentacle very weak,with irregularly arranged minute suckers. Aboral swimming membrane present in distal club.
