Plate 36　GONATIDAE テカギイカ科 （図A, B．サハリン沖産：模式標本） 141. テナガタコイカ Gonatopsis octopedatus Sasaki, 1920 大きさ 外套長24cm。 特徴 外套膜は柔かく、前縁に向かってやゝ細まるので太い紡鐘型の感じがする。鰭は丸みのある腎臓型で、長さは外套長の1/3以下である。腕は太く、第�M腕以外は縁2列は鉤、内側2列は吸盤となっているが、全ての腕の先端1/3ぐらいは6〜12列の吸盤となっている。触腕を欠く。 Mantle soft, obese fusiform-like, as narrowed anteriorly. Fins round, renal-shaped, with FL less than one-third of ML. Arms thick, with 2 marginal rows of suckers and 2 median rows of hooks except Arm �M. Distal one-third of all arms equipped with 6-12 minute suckers. Tentacle lacking. Okiyma (1970) suggested the benthic life of this squid based on peculiarly curled state of arm tips. （図．北海道沖産） 142. ドスイカ Berryteuthis magister (Berry, 1913) 大きさ 外套長38cm。 特徴 外形はスルメイカ型。外套膜はやわらかい。中ほどやや膨らんでいる。鰭は大きく菱形，長さは外套の約1/2に及び，幅はそれより大きい。第�M腕は吸盤のみ4列並んでいるが，第�J〜�L腕は内側2列は鉤になっている。触腕にはこまかい吸盤が20列以上並んでいて，鉤はない。触腕吸盤の角質環には約15個の小歯がある。 付記 三陸沖，日本海から亜寒帯北太平洋一帯の水深300m以深に多量に分布していて，深海トロールにもかかり，又クジラ類と餌として重要である。 Integument rather soft. Fins as large as attaining 50％ of ML. Tentacular club with equal-sized minute suckers in some 20 rows. But, it differs from Eogonatus tinro in having 7 transverse row of radula teeth. Very abundant near bottom out of shelf in the arctic North Pacific. （図A．三陸沖産；B．触腕） 143. カタドスイカ Berryteuthis magister nipponensis Okutani & Kubodera, 1987 大きさ 外套長18cm 特徴 外套膜は円筒型で筋肉質。鰭長は外套長の54％，幅は64％、第�M腕は吸盤列のみ4列であるが、�J〜�L腕では内側2列は鉤になる。触腕の掌部には先端8列、中央部15列以上の小吸盤が密に並び、触腕長の45％まで吸盤に被われる。 付記 日本海及び三陸の一部に出現するドスイカの１型で、典型的なものより筋肉質で緊り、鰭は小さく、触腕中央付近の吸盤は縁辺部のものより僅かに大きいのみの特徴で区別される。 Mantle cylindrical and muscular. FLI 54 and FWI 64. Arm �M with 4 rows of suckers, while mesial rows of other arms modified into hooks. Tentacle club with 8 rows of suckers distally and more than 15 rows centrally. Minute suckers covers 45％ of tentacle stalk. This subspecies differs from the typical B. magister in having very muscular body, smaller fins and less remarkably enlarged suckers in tentacle manus. （図A, B．オレゴン沖産） 144. ヒメドスイカ Berryteuthis anonychus (Pearcy & Voss. 1963) 大きさ 外套長15cm。 特徴 外套はよく緊り，円筒形。鰭は比較的小さく長さは外套長の1/3以下，幅は長さの2倍以下。腕は短かく，吸盤は4列。縁列の吸盤の柄は特に長い。雌においては�J〜�L腕の基部近くの数対は鉤に変形しているものがある。触腕は弱く，掌部は余り広く広がらない。強い泳膜と保護膜がある。10列を超える微小吸盤列があり，その角質環には3〜4個の方型の歯がある。 付記 ドスイカとは(1)頚襞が3（ドスイカでは4），(2)雄には一切鉤を欠き，雌の�J〜�L腕基部にのみ鉤があること，(3)鰭がずっと小さいこと、及び(4)触腕吸盤角質環歯が3〜4個（ドスイカでは約20）などの諸点で見分けられる。 Mantle muscular and cylindrical. Fins smaller than one-third of ML in length. FW less than twice FL. Arms short, with 4 series of suckers, except several mesial pairs in female that modified into hooks. Tentacle weak, but with strong protective membrane and aboral crest and more than 10 rows of minute suckers. This species is separable from B.magister in having (1) 3 nuchal crests (B. magister has 4), (2) no hook in male, (3) smaller fins and (4) tentacle sucker ring with 3-4 teeth (versus 20 in B. magister).
