Plate 12　SEPIOLIDAE ダンゴイカ科− Indo-West Pacific インド・西太平洋(2) （図A, B．土佐湾産；C．触腕） 45．ギンオビイカ Sepiolina nipponensis (Berry, 1911) 大きさ 外套長4cm 特徴 小型のミミイカ類。外套膜はドーム型。鰭は丸く比較的大きく片葉で外套長の60％。外套膜の腹面側面に銀色に光る幅広い帯がある。腕はほぼ等長，吸盤は2列。触腕掌部は狭く，微小な吸盤が16列ほど並ぶ。外套腔内に亜心臓型の発光器がある。 生態 水深200mほどまでにすみ，沿岸の底曳網で特に大量に漁れる。墨の代りに光の液を吐く。 Small bobtail squid. Mantle short and dome-shaped. Fins rather large, a single lobe attains 60％ ML. Ventral mantle surrounded by broad iridescent belt. Arm subequal, with biserial suckers. Tentacle club with minute suckers in 16 rows. Subcordate luminous organ situated in mantle cavity. Excrete luminous cloud instead of ink. A large population is occasinally taken by trawlers, such as below the shelf in Suruga Bay. （図A．土佐湾産；B．雄口側面観） 46．ミミイカ Euprymna morsei (Verrill, 1881) 市場名 ダンゴイカ，ヒドコイカ，ジコイカ (地方名) ， 大きさ 外套長4cm。 特徴 外套膜は丸味のある袋状で，鰭は丸くあたかも耳のよう。頭部は外套膜に比し大きく，眼も大きい。色斑はなく，暗紫褐色の色素胞を一面に散らしている。腕吸盤は4列。雄の左第�J腕が交接腕に変形していて，特に先端1/2の吸盤が肉質の乳頭状突起になっている。貝殻をもたない。墨汁嚢上に発光器がある。 生態 ごく沿岸域にすみ，海底の砂中に体を埋めていたり，時には表面近くを遊泳している。卵はコウイカ類のそれにやや似ていて小型。周囲に砂粒などをまぶして数10個を固めて内湾の海底などに産みつける。 付記 小型で且つ墨の量も多く経済価値は低いが沿岸漁村ではいくらか食用となっている。 Bobtail squid with neither cuttlebone nor gladius. Mantle plump sack-like, with round fins. Arm �J of male hectocotylized with reduction of sucker size, and a nipple-like projection proximally. Saddle-shaped luminous organ present above ink-sac. Neritic, living either near-surface or near-bottom. Low economic value but locally utillized. （図A．館山湾産；B．雄口側面観） 47．ニヨリミミイカ Euprymna berryi Sasaki, 1929 大きさ 外套長3. 5cm 特徴 前種ミミイカE. monseiに極めて良く似ているが、次の諸点で種別される。 (1)ミミイカでは腕4列吸盤のうち、腹側列のみが拡大する、特に�K〜�M腕では第3〜4吸盤からそれが明らか。しかし本種では背・腹列とも拡大し、第�L腕は5〜8番目の吸盤から、又、�K，�M腕は2〜4番目の吸盤から拡大が起る。 (2)触腕の吸盤は極めて密であるがミミイカでは球型ないし円筒型であるが、本種では酒盃或いはマドロスパイプ型である。 生態 前種と同所的分布をし細密な形態調査をしないと正しい同定は困難。 This species is sympatric with E. morsei and very close to each other. Only non-quantitative difference may be: (1) Among 4 rows of arm suckes, only ventral rows enlarged in E. morsei (particularly from 3rd to 4th suckers in Arms �K-�M), but both dorsal and ventral rows enlarged in E. berryi (from 5th to 8th sucker in Arm �L and 2nd to 4th suckers in Arms �Kand �M). (2) Tentacle suckers spherical or cylindrical in E. morsei, but goblet-shaped or smoking-pipe-like in E. berryi. （図A．タイ湾；B．雄口側面観） 48．ネッタイミミイカ＊ Euprymna stenodactyla (Grant, 1835) 大きさ 外套長18. 5mm 特徴 外套膜はドーム型で、幅は長さの90％位。外套背縁は頭部と癒合している。鰭は中庸。腕はやゝ長く吸盤は基部は2列、それが3列になり先端方では4列。雄では第�Lと�M腕の腹列の3〜4個が拡大するが、他腕の吸盤同志の大小関係は顕著でない。左�J腕は交接腕、基部は20〜25の正常吸盤があり、次に1〜3個の乳嘴状突起、それより先は35〜40個の突起からなる柵状構造となる。触腕掌部は曲り、小吸盤が細密に並ぶ。 Small bobtail squid, attaining 18.5mm ML. Mantle dome-shaped, MW about 90％ ML. Dorsal mantle edge fused with dorsal head. Fins round, moderate in size. Arms rather long, with sucker rows changes from 2 to 3 and to 4 from proximal to distal. 3-4 ventral suckers of Arms �L and �M enlarged in male, but differences of sucker sizes are not so prominent in other arms. Male left Arm �J hectocotylized with proximal 20-25 normal suckers followed by 1-3 nipple like papillae and then palisaded 35-40 fleshy papillae. Tentacle club strongly curved with numerous minute suckers.
