Plate 6　SEPIIDAE コウイカ科−Indo-West Pacific インド・西太平洋(2) （図A．ジャワ産；B．バンダ海産；C．触腕） 21．バンダコウイカ＊ Sepia (?Blandosepia) bandensis Adam, 1939. 大きさ 外套長48 mm（♂）〜58 mm（♀） 特徴 外套膜は卵楕円形で外套幅は長さの51〜70％。背側は暗褐色で淡黄色斑がある。触腕掌部は短く、約70個の吸盤が5列に並び中央列の3個の吸盤が拡大している。貝殻の幅は長さの約半分で、背側には肋がなく網目状の彫刻をもつ。内円錐は低く外円錐に密着している。 Rather small sepiid attaining 48 mm(♂) to 50 mm(♀) ML. MW 51-70％ ML. Dorsal dark brown with scattered yellowish dots. Tenatcle club short, with about 70 suckers in 5 rows, of which central 3 suckers enlarged. Shell oval, SW about half SL, with no dorsal ridge but calcified reticulations. Inner cone so low that attached to outer cone. Known only from Banda Sea and its neighbouring waters. （図A，B．タイ湾産） 22．シャムコウイカ＊ Sepia (Acanthosepion) brevimana Steenstrup, 1875 大きさ 外套長10 cm． 特徴 外套膜はや、先細り。鰭は少し後方から始まる。触腕掌部は短かく、微小同大の吸盤が5列並ぶ。貝殻背面は顆粒状、前方鈍く尖る。内円錐は強く張り出し、滑層のため橙黄色を呈す。外円錐は広く、内円錐と癒着する。棘は中庸。 Small sepiid attaing 10 cm ML. Mantle rather acuminated posteriorly. Fins start millimeters behind frontal margin. Tentacle club small, with minute subequal suckers. Shell with pustulated dorsal surface, with bluntly acuminated anterior end. Inner cone strongly raised, tinted yellowish orange by callus. Outer cone broadly fused with inner cone. Distributed broadly in the Indo-Malayan waters including the Gulf of Thailand. （図A，B．ホンコン産；C．触腕） 23．ペルシャコウイカ Sepia (Anomalosepia) omani Adam & Rees, 1966 大きさ 外套長7cm。 特徴 外套膜は卵円形で、前背葉は突出。触腕掌部の反口側泳膜は僅かに長く、吸盤は8斜列に並び、2〜5列の第3吸盤は著るしく拡大している。貝殻はDoratosepion型で、幅は長さの25％。内円錐はV型で放射状条がある。外円錐は狭いが明らか。 Small sepiid attaining 7cm ML. Mantle oval with protruded dorsal lobe. Tentacle club with a little long aboral membrane, suckers in 8 oblique rows ; 3rd suckers of 2-5 rows extremely enlarged. Shell of Doratosepion-type, SW 25％ SL. Inner cone V-sahped with radiating lirae, outer cone narrow but distinct. Spine sharp with strong ridges. （図A．東シナ海産；B．オマン湾産；C．触腕） 24．アラビアコウイカ Sepia (Acanthosepion) prashadi Winkworth, 1936. 大きさ 外套長14cm 特徴 中形のコウイカ類で，背側に不明瞭な虎斑があり，触腕掌部は短く，吸盤は斜に8列に並んでいるが，中央の4吸盤が特大で，周囲の数個も中庸に大きいため，小吸盤は圧迫されている。交接腕は基部に4列の正常吸盤があるのに続いて，肉襞のある広い部分があって小吸盤が並ぶ。このうち腹側2列はくっつきあってほとんど1列となるが，背側のものは離れている。変形吸盤は12〜14列。貝殻はいくぶん厚目で，背側は顆粒状，内円錐はV型。棘は強い。 Medium-sized sepiid attaining 14 cm ML. Dorsal mantle with irregular transverse stripes. Tentacle club short, with 8 oblique rows of suckers, among which mesial 4 extremely large, surrounded by moderately large suckers. Hectocotylus with 4 rows of normal suckers proximally and small suckers on fleshy portion. Ventral two rows of suckers situated very closely, but dorsal ones separated. Modified suckers in 12-14 rows. Shell thick, with granulated dorsum. Inner cone V-shaped, with strong spine. Distributed down to 200m deep.
